Deadline for petition to Caerphilly planners is this FRIDAY, April 22

April 20, 2016 at 4:23 PM

IMG_5041.JPGNearly 600 people in Cardiff North have signed the petition - please share to help us get to more than 600 by the deadline this Friday, April 22.

I'm planning to hand over the petition on Friday at 1pm on Caerphilly Mountain at the Snack Bar on the B4263. I will be meeting Caerphilly MP Wayne David and Labour Assembly candidate Hefin David there.

If you feel strongly about the plans please sign the petition HERE.

While I understand that people need homes to live in, the proposed development on the SE edge of Caerphilly, particularly the bypass which would cross beautiful green fields and join the Mountain Road, will add to already severe rush-hour traffic congestion on this road over the mountain and down into North Cardiff. It will also contribute to traffic noise and pollution in Cardiff's own Green Wedge area.
